More on Antifa, the Election, and Thanksgiving
Appearing on a special Thanksgiving episode of The Blaze News Tonight with Jill Savage and Matt Peterson.
I was in Dallas visiting with friends last week for Thanksgiving, and I appeared on The Blaze News Tonight, hosted by the estimable duo of Jill Savage and Matt Peterson. Since it was a very busy week with travel and merriment, I wanted to upload portions of this show in case you missed it. (This show is also available as an audio podcast.)
In the first segment, we discussed the mini-wave of bomb threats that have been made against president-elect Trump’s appointments, including Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin. Referencing my most recent article (“A Whimper Not A Bang: Where Was Antifa After Trump’s Victory”), I predicted that, despite some relatively cost-free online harassment, the far-left would hold their fire until next year’s immigration enforcement fight. Then, Chad Jackson joined us for a discussion of how the Democrats’ racial coalition splintered just enough for a Trump victory. The Blaze’s DC reporter Rebeka Zeljko reacted to plans to bring new media into the White House press corps, and Prof. Pete Peterson of Pepperdine University gave us a lesson on Lincoln’s Thanksgiving proclamation’s states rights controversy.
I hope you enjoy this show, and please subscribe to The BlazeTV.
