Great conversation. I didn’t like the phone call vibe at first, but after a while I didn’t even notice it, and I can sort of see the appeal. Look forward to more!
Great conversation. The phone call concept is a nice idea, I like the informality of it. Amanda Milius is basically the perfect woman in my book. Where are all the based, beautiful, intelligent people like her in "real life," I wonder? We could sure use more of em! Very much looking forward to upcoming podcasts with more amazing guests.
This was so great. Loved the personal and casual vibe of two friends chatting, laughing, sharing stories, etc. I found myself smiling and laughing along all throughout.
Gotta say, I loved when Amanda commented on how her household TV programming wasn't centered around the kids. Ours wasn't either. I come from a large family - 8 children and my dad worked his ass off, so did my mother being a mother. It was very much the same attitude she described. I think it's healthy to grow up realizing the world doesn't revolve around you. I drive around in my neighborhood and parents have these insane b-day parties for a 1 or 2-year olds with these enormous yard signs, "Britney is 1!!!!!!!" I mean, who's that for? It ain't for Britney, I can tell you that.
